Listen, it is never too late to reach your God-given weight loss goals.

This is a 90-day opportunity to be Holy Spirit-led in your journey.

So, yeah, I've gained about eight pounds since bringing home our tiny, precious peanut.

And it's been a legit struggle in my mind, but God keeps reminding me that I can make new and better choices every single day.

So these are three things that he continues to remind me of this week that I want to share with you because I think that they are so important.

So the first one, we're gonna plan our workout.

What does your day look like?

When will it make most sense for you to get your sweat on?

30 minutes, it's all you need.

Schedule it and go.

Okay?

Listen, this is about a commitment.

Say a prayer, ask for strength.

Let God be the one that gives you what you need.

Okay?

Step two, plan your meals.

Look at the day ahead.

Look at the week ahead.

Do you have a lunch or dinner scheduled that week?

Plan it.

Look at the menu ahead of time.

Listen, the internet can be so amazing.

Plan accordingly.

Look up the menu.

Look up the specials.

Couple tips, shoot for 25 to 30 grams of protein per meal to keep you full.

And I like to aim for 3 to 4 cups of fruit each day and 5 to 6 cups of veggies per day.

Macro plans are like the bomb.com.

So make a plan and stick to it.

If you want to schedule a treat or you're going out for a birthday celebration and you know there might be a bite of cake you want to have, make it work for you.

That's the beautiful thing about macros.

There's no food shame.

I mean, there's no food shame anyway because we belong to Jesus.

But when you are following a macro plan or you're on an intentional eating schedule, you can build those things in to make them work towards your weight loss goals.

This is the key to getting a jump start on your weight loss because we're not about diets, we're not about fads, we're not about giving up food groups unless God has called you specifically to do that.

Okay, let's make it work for you.

The third step, journal your goals every single day.

Listen, when my clients first join me, they're like, journal, that seems so weird.

It's like such a hippie-dippie thing to do.

I am telling you, when you write, see, and read aloud your goals, they stick in your head.

There must be like some psychological connection, but I want you to think about your goals.

Think about your body and think about your thoughts.

Ask him to give you the goals that you need and write them down.

And if you say, well, I'm not really hearing from God, that's for a couple of reasons.

Either one, you're not asking, or two, you're not spending time with him in prayer.

If you pray, if you talk to him, if you ask him to speak to you throughout your day, he will.

He should be our first thought, not our email, not Facebook.

Spending our first fruits with Jesus every single morning should be our first priority.

Ask him to give you the things that you need to work on that day and then have the courage and strength that you can make them happen.

Listen, he will answer our prayer if we are courageous enough to ask.

I'm going to give you a little bit of tough love today.

Proverbs 16.3 says, commit to the Lord whatever you do and he will establish your plans.

I think I just talked about that episode in another, or talked about that first in another episode.

Listen, listen, I love you enough to tell you that it is your responsibility to fuel yourself well.

It is your responsibility to move your body, it is your responsibility to audit your social time and ask yourself how much time could be wasted.

What could you be doing?

Could you be exercising?

Could you be food prepping?

Could you be in prayer?

Listen, ask God to give you Holy Spirit conviction and discipline that you need to do the things He's calling you to do.

We thank you Father for the gift of our bodies.

We thank you for new mercies each day.

We thank you that we have goals in mind and that you confirm those goals through Holy Spirit conviction.

We thank you for giving us the strength to plan our workouts, to plan our meals, and to write down the things that you place on our hearts, Father.

We just ask for discernment, we ask for strength, and then the courage to walk out the things that you plant in our minds, Lord.

We thank you so much for your son, we thank you for Jesus, we thank you for this day, and the opportunity to make new and better choices, choices that honor you and allow you to get the glory in our weight loss journey.

We thank you for this day, we thank you for what you will do to us and through us, and we ask these things in your precious and holy name.

Amen.
